Mobile Cardiac PET/CT for Multi-Location Cardiology Groups

Mobile cardiac PET/CT for multi-location cardiology groups lets you serve patients from every office you run. VIP Imaging can set up at one location and take patients from all of them, or rotate between offices on a schedule that fits each site's staffing. Your smaller offices get the same PET/CT study as your largest.

Serve every office's patients, from one site or several

You can run PET/CT days at one location and book patients from all your offices there. Or the unit can rotate between offices. Either way, a patient from your smallest office gets the same PET/CT study as one from your busiest.

  • Book patients from every office into one site
  • Or rotate between offices on a shared schedule
  • Smaller offices get the same scanner and protocol

A schedule planned around your staffing

We plan the month with your administrator. We look at patient volume at each office and which sites have staff free on scan days. Offices with fewer patients can share a day or send patients to a nearby site, while busier offices get days of their own. When referrals or staffing change, we change the plan.

One contract and one scheduling contact

One agreement covers every location. One VIP contact builds the monthly calendar across all of them, so your administrator isn't coordinating a separate vendor for each office.

The same study at every site

The same scanner and the same Rb-82 protocol run at every office, so studies read the same way wherever the patient was scanned. Your readers compare like with like, and SPECT days can ride the same rotation.

Questions

Questions from group administrators

Can one unit serve all of our offices?

Yes. We can set up at one location and take patients from all your offices, or rotate between sites on a schedule we plan with you. Each site we park at needs a level pad and a dedicated power connection.

How do you decide which offices get days?

We plan it with you, based on patient volume and which offices have staff available on scan days. Smaller offices can share a day or send patients to a nearby site.

What does the site need?

A level pad and a dedicated power connection. We walk the site with your property manager before the first day.

Which tracer do you use?

Rubidium-82 (Rb-82), the standard tracer for cardiac PET/CT myocardial perfusion. Its short half-life keeps the patient's radiation dose low and the visit under an hour.

How fast can we start?

Often the same week you sign. We confirm the pad and power, set the day, and your front desk fills it.

Who reads the studies?

Your choice. Most practices have their own cardiologists read and bill the professional component. If you'd rather not, our reading physicians interpret the studies and send the reports to you.

Is this a PET/CT rental or a service?

A staffed service. VIP brings the mobile PET/CT unit, the technologists and the scheduling support on the days you book. There is no equipment lease, no build-out and nothing for you to staff.
